What is Life Coaching?

Life coaching is a process that helps people who want to improve their lives, facing transitions, and want to make their good life better.  The International Coaching Federation defines coaching as “as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.”

As a certified professional coach I help you recognize the power and potential already within you to consciously create the life you desire. By asking the right questions, I help you identify new possibilities, goals, remove roadblocks, and create a plan to achieve them.

The coaching method creates a safe atmosphere where you can find answers and focus on solutions to life challenges. By helping you explore options in your life I can challenge you to go beyond your comfort zone.  Through successive sessions I hold you accountable for remaining on the path to success.

Coaching is all about connecting goals to actions and the steps to get there in order to live your dreams. Coaching concentrates on where you are now and what you are willing to do to get where you want to be in the future. I want to inspire you to discover your authentic self through inner exploration empowering you to become your best self.

What Does The Coaching Process Look Like?

Life coaching utilizes a client centered approach. In the early session we work together to establish where you are and define what you want to get out of Coaching.

  • After some exploration you set goals – which are essential so you know what direction you are heading.

  • As part of the session we brainstorm options and possibilities for your action plan. This is an essential part of coaching – as you identify (or perhaps admit to yourself!) possible ways forward.​

  • At each session you create and commit to your action plan for the upcoming period

    As a coach I help and empower you to make, meet and exceed personal, relational, spiritual and professional goals. This creates balance and harmony in your daily life. I can help guide you from wherever you are now, to where you want to be, and beyond. What's the Difference Between Coaching and Counseling?

Traditonal therapy involves dealing with unresolved childhood issues that are blocking clients from moving forward and causing problems in their current lives. Coaching focuses on issues that the client is facing now and helps the client focus on next steps for their future.
